Men, join us for a one-day Christian leadership retreat at Revolutionary War battlefields in Kings Mountain and Cowpens, SC.

We examine key elements of the Revolutionary War and some of its heroes while connecting the dots to timeless, Biblical principles to help men and “future men” become better leaders in the home, in the church, and in the community.

“Thank you for your historical knowledge and your Godly wisdom. I took away a lot of very relevant and practical biblical leadership principles. I think this trip is applicable to men of all ages and as a new dad myself (16 month old son), it was particularly important. My dad was with me and really enjoyed each aspect…even at age 65, he gained so much.” 

Topics include courage, leading with humility, continuous improvement, and finishing well.

This is a great opportunity for fathers and sons (ages 12+) or men of all ages and stages of life to spend a fun day of fellowship together to learn what God’s Word has to say about leadership.

The inaugural trip was sponsored by Shandon Baptist Church Men’s Ministry on Father’s Day Weekend 2016 and sold out with 45 participants.

Our next trip is scheduled for Father’s Day weekend 2021 (Saturday, June 19th). The day includes bus transportation, Chick-fil-A lunch, and snacks – email us to reserve your spot!
