“I want to be your God and I want you to be My people.” – The Lord

Genesis 17:7-8 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you. I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession and I will be their God.”

Exodus 6:7 “Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.”

Leviticus 26:12 “I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.”

Deuteronomy 26:18 “The Lord has today declared you to be His people, a treasured possession, as He promised you, and that you should keep all His commandments.”

Deuteronomy 29:13 “In order that He may establish you today as His people and that He may be your God, just as He spoke to you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

2 Samuel 7:24 “For You have established for Yourself Your people Israel as Your own people forever, and You, O Lord, have become their God.”

Zechariah 8:8 “And I will bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness.”

Zechariah 13:9 “And I will bring the third part through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.'”

2 Corinthians 6:16 “Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, ‘I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.'”

Revelation 21:3 “And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them.'”

Revelation 21:7 “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.”

The son of God became the son of man so that the children of men might become the children of God. Jesus made all of this possible!
